I'm not a fan of @DeseretBookCo, and here's why...

My wife and I had a few minutes to burn the other evening while on a date, so we stopped by the Deseret Book store that was close to the movie theater. I could not believe my eyes when I saw their prices! Here's an example: a piece of felt cut out in the shape of Utah - about 2"x3" - with some stitching on the front (says, "Provo") that my 8 yr old son could do with no stitching experience. The packaging is as cheap as the product - looks like it was printed off from a home inkjet printer. Suffice it to say that the the product is obviously made for a very low cost.

The sales price? $9.95! Maybe they thought the fastener that was hot glued on the back was super awesome or something... I mean, who can argue the shear awesomeness of that : )

I could see a rational person paying $.99 for something like this... maybe. But $9.95?! Come on, Deseret Book... you can do better than this.
