Finally got around to putting the Cambio Labs sticker on the family car. I cannot wait for 2010!!
(and yes, that's some serious bed/hat-head going on)
Took a little lunch break down to in-n-out with the family and couldn't help but think, "how does a business get to a point where people line up around the building (literally) to get a cheeseburger and coke?!"
Lines. There are all kinds of them... Cars lining up; people waiting in front of walmart at 4am; website shoppers waiting on the edge of their seat waiting for the new product to be available for purchase, just to name a few.So here's the thing: how does a business get to a point where people are waiting like this for their product/service? There is no quick answer, and I'm not going to spend a lot of time telling you what I think, but something tells me it has to do with a couple of key things, including: good product/service, timing (and location for some places), connections, and some luck. There are, of course, more pieces to this puzzle, but there are books for long-winded answers.
Anyway, just some food-for-thought (pun intended).
